Arrived to this beautiful pearl of a caminovillage shortly after noon taken place at this old english style albergue. A place which will be difficult to leave tomorrow.

Rabanal is a small cozy village.
I have left the high pleateau and from altitude 800 reached 1200 m. Tomorrow the walk goes to the Ironcross in 1500 m. From there it only goes down to 600 m. Am very exited what thighbasses will say to this downturn. Ought not to give any problems - tried before.

In addition to Knut, who constantly turns up, I also met Jaime on my way and now here in Rabanal.
During my meal yesterday I had a pleasant review with SunSook in Astorga. Last time we saw oneanother must have been a couple of weeks ago.

At this Old english place I met Talia and Russell. A nice young couple from New York. [We are still I contact via FB. I really would like to meet you also, on my (hopefully) tour in the states.
